Format: the weight on average of the pig (iron basic) it is about 8 kg. Product of easy handling reducing the stock cost, unloading and transport without wastes.

Density: The density in bulk it is of 3,5 metric tons for meter cube. 

Purity: The high tenor of Fe (94 to 95%) without impure material  combined with a low tenor of sulfur and phosphorus is the characteristic of the coal used in the pig iron . The absence of such pollutants like Cu,Cr,Ni,Mo,Sn,V,Ti and Zn, dissolve these residual  lowering the cost of the scrap mixture.
